As a sophomore just finished up my first year as a Blugold I honestly look forward to transferring after next school year. I wouldn't say that my experience has been bad here by any means, but this school is definitely not for me. Because of intense budget cuts, there is no push to graduate in four years and the class sizes and availability are ridiculously small. Their credit transfer cheated me out of 16 additional credits I had taken through a technical college closer to home. I plan on graduating with my Associate's degree at the end of next school year and transferring out of the University of Wisconsin system entirely.
This school is a huge party school, which is why I say it isn't for me. The campus outreach programs, such as Cru, seem clique-ish and unwelcoming aside from a few girls who had reached out to me in the beginning of the year.
The dorm life has been the best part of my experience here because of the community we form within our wings.
