My husband and I had been casually looking to purchase our first home for over a year, but we suddenly found ourselves (with our two little ones) in a situation where we had a bit of a time crunch to find, purchase, and move into our new home. Once we found our perfect home and the offer was accepted, we d planned to use our credit union for our mortgage, as we had an established relationship and it was known to have better rates. However, based on a recommendation, my husband reached out to Steve Rossi, and after comparing what our credit union offered and what Steve offered (which he provided quicker and with much more ease than anywhere else we had contacted), it was clear that we needed to go with Steve & AMIC. Now, I have heard horror stories about home-buying, and I m grateful to say that was not at all our experience due largely to the ease of working with Steve. His patience as we navigated the process for the first time with hectic work and family schedules combined with his quick responses and overall relaxed demeanor helped us to enjoy the experience, even as scary as it is. Our original contract had a pretty quick closing date to ensure we were able to move in time; however, in order for the sellers to make a couple repairs on the home, our agent negotiated an even sooner closing date. Steve rose to the occasion, making our entire mortgage process, start to finish, less than 20 days. Even as a first-time homebuyer, I am confident we wouldn t have gotten the same service and ease if we had gone any where else. Five stars all around!
