We landed on a cloudy day in October. We booked our tickets in advance that saved us the trouble of standing in a line. A word of advice: get there as early as you can. We parked at Entrance 1 and then began our walk. The cost of the ferry and bus is included in the entrance ticket (one ride only).

The lakes themselves were beautiful! We got the fall colors and the Serene lakes during our visit. Despite the weather, there were enough people. I would recommend taking the route K. It covers the entire beauty of the park. Please carry enough food and water. The trip took us about 5-6 hours.
