We had a baby here at it was quite frankly one of the worst experiences I ve ever had. I don t say that to be flippant. The nurses were unprofessional. The staff seemed over worked, uninformed and unorganized. One particularly bad part was the birth clerk Maricella. Just awful. She pressured us to select a name for our child within 10 min because she wanted to take the rest of the day off.

Countless other screw ups. Keep in mind, St. John s will probably bill your insurance somewhere between $10,000 and $30,000 for the services they provide. I would highly recommended researching other facilities, like UCLA, before you choose to have your child here.
