This was the first time we took the Chartered buses to the bowl. We took the bus from Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. Left on time, directly dropped you off/picked you up in front of the bowls entrance. 35 minutes each way. For the two of us it cost less than what parking at the bowl costs and it's a nightmare. Will never drive and park there again. It's incredible how quickly they got you there and back and it only took 2-3 minutes to walk to the bus, entrance, exit, and back to my car, total. It's crazy not to do this. But about the music. Came here to see Tosca with Gustavo Dudamel conducting the LA Philharmonic. The conducting brought out the best of the LA Phil. musicians. Brought a cooler with picnic food, wine, cheese, bread and fruits while hearing a great score under the stars.
