I would not come back here even if I were dying! No, ESPECIALLY if I were dying! I would go to a different ER. Visited here 2 times this week, not for fun, not to be dramatic or a hypochondriac, but because I really felt like I was dying. And for the ER DR to argue their case not to increase a simple antibiotic to error on the side of definitely saving my life but to stay conservative out of principle (to the antibiotic abuse era we are now in) and most likely save my life - was inane. What was there to lose by prescribing a more aggressive antibiotic to someone with no known complication risks? It was as if I were seeking a class I or II drug to abuse. I had to get help elsewhere and amazingly, that help worked immediately.
