Caring, yes. ...The nursing staff was very helpful and kind. Based on what we saw, I d rate them 5 stars.
Knowledgeable, no. The team of doctors wasted two very critical weeks and did not properly diagnose, even with all their testing. On transferring to another hospital, Mercy did not even send all the proper information and biopsy images we requested - this cost even more valuable time today.
If you have routine needs, I believe Mercy should be able to handle things fine for you. If your issues are more complex, PLEASE seek a larger hospital equipped with better resources. If we fully understood what we were facing, we would have transferred sooner.
