Had a long wait in A and E and even though it was a quiet time, I still waited over 11 hours in (just under 4 to be shown to a bed, to wait another 5 hours till a doctor could see whether I needed intravenous antibiotics). I do not in any way blame the doctors or nurses, they were friendly, apologetic and word hard, they are underfunded and underpaid for the long hours they do.
