NO MILITARY VETERAN WHO IS LOOKING FOR A SERVICE DOG SHOULD ADOPT FROM HERE!
I was planning on adopting from this shelter and when I spoke to the adoption lady Amy. She made it seem like she had a problem with my disorders that I obtained from the military. Even though on the application I stated I would have him be trained as a service dog. The whole conversation was centered on the fact I had a mental health problem so the dog would not be happy with me. That is what I got. She was not listening and even when she spoke to my husband he said he felt like she was blaming me for my problems and I was a problem and would not have a good home for the dog. Bottom line. I was black listing this place for militaty veterns trying to make a connection and have them be service dogs. Horrible experience.

I apologize for having my mental health problems because I obviously wanted them to begin with.
