So, why a 2? I had wanted to go to LACMA for a long time. My previous visit was for the King TUT exhibit. Because I live in Orange County it cost me more to get in. Even as a senior it was not inexpensive for two tickets. Between parking, tickets and lunch it was well over $100 for two. Then there were the exhibits with the descriptions in about 14 point type. According to the guards, many people complain about the small print but the people at LACMA apparently don't care. In one gallery the guard insisted I back up so far from the exhibit that the text could not be read. When I pointed that out she said the curator didn't want people closer. And of course, what I really came for was the Japanese pavilion which was closed. I doubt I will go back. Somewhat unfriendly.
