Your average civil war-town tourist trap. Long wait, high prices, a big but not very informing menu, nice staff, and decent food. I m sure there are tastier places in Gettysburg, but the combination of location and historical feel is unmatched. For how old it looks and feels, it s still clean, and the seating is awesome. Definitely would recommend lunch over dinner here. Kind of neat how you can enjoy a meal while still looking on to the exact spot where Lincoln gave his famous address. As for what to order, go simple. A few members of my party had seafood, another had pasta. All dishes were described as awkward and unoriginal. However, I had sliders, somebody else had a Reuben, and both were great for a gastropub. Overall, expect a long wait, order simple, and focus on the historic feel and the great location rather than the innovative quality of the meal.
