I am only giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the fact that despite being a newer stadium, it didn't feel like it was newer in terms of baseball fans. While I went on a Friday evening when the Padres lost to the Braves, it felt like it was just a place the city gathered to hang out and party, granted it was "Country Night," but it seemed most people were there to get drunk instead of pay attention to the game. The food options were pretty dismal compared to most baseball stadiums these days but I also do not eat meat, so my choices may have been limited by my own dietary restrictions. The baseball team on the field seems to be improving over what they have dealt with for years but this review is about the stadium itself and how I felt that it was one of the best parks I have been to so far but it felt small and uncomfortable, especially the seats. It was the most lively stadium I have been to thus far, but the stadium itself felt like it could benefit from a reorganization to make it more friendly to walk and see the field. Other than that, it was a great experience.
