Dear folks at BMRC,

Dear folks at BMRC,
I have had many positive experiences on the limited metro stretch between Indira Nagar and MG Road.
However, the metro authorities let me down badly on the evening of 22/12.
I boarded the metro at the Indiranagar station at 6:55 pm and reached the terminus (MG Rd), around 7:10 pm. I got out at the 'wrong' exit, namely the end near the maidan, leading to Cubbon Park and the Anil Kumble Circle.
To my shock, I found that MG Rd is now totally barricaded making it impossible to cross the road, as one used to previously. I went back and requested the agent one Mr. Raju to let me through to reach the other exit.
He was extremely rude. In fact, he behaved like an automated rule book--he informed me that metro policy made it necessary for me to swipe my smart card again, and waste Rs. 11+ to get to the other exit.
I don't mind the small wasted sum deducted from my smart card. What riles me is the attitude of your agent and the security guards.
When I swiped my card again and went upstairs to the other MG/Church St. exit, again I was stopped by security guards directing me to the platform. I had to explain all over again what happened.
Please conduct courses in customer service, basic courtesy, and passenger management for your personnel.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Prof. Raj Ayyar
