My family and I intended on going last year and we saw that there was a shuttle bus and my husband felt that was jut too busy so we went up the street to a smaller farm. I'm happy we did because we were there the hour/day that poor child was killed and I'm too scared to ever go back there. It's just too much of everything and unfortunately sometimes terrible things happen with such chaos. It's apple picking, we don't need to put our children in danger because of it. Also, perhaps if the parking lot is full on the farm, it's probably very busy and parking at an alternate location might add to the craziness.
