In general, I wouldn't give any hotel 5 stars. This one is pretty close. I prefer smaller hotels. This one is massive. But it's very tastefully and simply designed and decorated. Even the holiday decorations were simple and elegant.

The breakfast buffet is very well appointed, and the dining area is comfortable and bright. Bar/restaurant/lounge - also very comfortable and inviting. We ate dinner there. Prices were stupidly high, like any hotel. But the food was very good and service prompt and friendly.

On the mezzanine there's a coffee are with sofas, chairs, and tables.

Rooms are on the large size. The bathroom is truly first-rate. Bit tub, separate roomy shower. Plenty of room for a couple to be getting ready at the same time.

One thing that really ticked me off, and it's not this hotel's fault, the "green" message - suspend service for a day and get 500 bonus points. C'monnnn . . . why do corporations assume people are stupid? Hilton doesn't give a hoot about the environment. This is a cost saving move pretending to be a social conscious.
