My first issue is that the difference in price for a tire rotation to a rotation and balance is $30, which, as a mechanic myself, is ludicrous. First of all mounting AND balancing tires only pays .8 of an hour and most of that time is taken up by removing the old tires from the wheels and mounting on new tires. As a matter of fact most tire shops will give you FREE rotation and balance with a set of tires because it costs them so little. If that wasn't bad enough as I reached 60mph on my way home I felt tire vibration AGAIN! A little history on me I started in the automotive business nearly 30 years ago doing tires and wheels, so I have to wonder what I paid for. Never let these people touch your car.
