It would be curmudgeonly to knock off any stars when I go there for free radio shows.
The staff are always welcoming but as the BBC is publicly funded it seems to be extravagantly over-manned (personed?)
They miss a trick on catering and seating. There is a long wait to see shows, (perhaps not the most efficient entry system?), as everyone gets there early to get a good seat. There is inadequate seating in the ante room / cafeteria area.
If all were seated and had catering with a wider and more plentiful choice, someone could make a killing. Merchandise stall could do better too. (Intended as helpful suggestions.)
PS
One year on. Cafeteria much improved, good range of food and snacks. Still a seating shortage and you still have to queue the rain to get in.
