I called ahead of time to make sure the vehicle I wanted was available. The salesperson, Patrick, assured me it was and had been through their inspection so it was mechanically sound. It took me an hour and 20 mins. to get there but when I arrived Patrick was no where to be found. Another salesperson came out and told me that the car was on the lift being inspected. So I talked to the manager and he said inspection might be an hour or two so my wife and I went to dinner. When I got back to the dealership Rick said the car didn't pass inspection and that all of the cars in that price range hasn't been inspected yet. But him, the manager and another salesperson told me the same thing, "Why don't you take the money you were going to purchase the cash car for and apply it to financing a new vehicle." Sounds like bait and switch to me.
