It was a great stay. However, there was so much miscommunication. When I tried to update my package, I spent about an hour on the phone with a lovely gentleman who was willing to help but lacked the knowledge. We ended up not being able to make any changes in the end. And due to covid, there were some issues with the vouchers included in our package. Breakfast for 2, the Cafe was closed. So we got breakfast sandwiches from Starbucks with a 10 dollar voucher, which didn't even cover the cost of one sandwich. Not able to even get a coffee. And we paid 5 dollars more in the end. When the Cafe was open, the gentleman told us it is an all American breakfast, usually worth 26 dollars per person. Then we were told we would get 20 dollar voucher each for Mortons Grill and when we got there, was only given 20. We told the woman at the front that the gentleman told us 20 each, and honored it. But didn't make us feel great about it, but thats what we were told. Hot water taps in the morning spewed out red / brown water, was told it was from the tanks and it let it run. Was very unpleasant. However we understood and they let us check out later. Also when I booked, I called to ask if there was a tub in the room, and as per the room details online it said there would be a large tub separate from shower, however there was no tub. I updated our room from a bilevel room, to the presidential thinking we would get a tub. I think for the amount we paid, the value was not there. Luckily we are easy going people, but I feel that we did not get what we paid for. We spent over $550 for one night for our anniversary and didn't feel very special, although we had great expectations for the package we chose.
