Stayed here for 3 nights as birthday gift. It has it's good and not so good points. Day spa was very nice. Not big however everyone providing the various services were pleasant and skilled. Had several issues with room, safe broken, chipped glass, rattling sprinkler and ac not working. Engineers very responsive. Fixed everything. Room very nice, large and well-equipped. On 1st floor so had a patio, with no overhang or shade. End room with patio facing west so had to keep room darkening drapes closed almost full time. Treated well upon arrival. Made the mistake of eating in the fancy restaurant Catalina room. Neither of us were thrilled with entrees. Service just ok. Did not like being hit on check with large "service charge", explained as gratuity.
