I started receiving unsolicited emails from a spec...

I started receiving unsolicited emails from a specific company that I was no longer associated with as I let my membership lapse. The spams were being sent out through Salesforce's servers in behalf of Sam's Club. I immediately unsubscribed, even though it was clear that I never subscribed in the first place. The email link stated it would take up to 10 days to remove my name from their unauthorized list.

On the 14th day of still being spammed by Salesforce, and after filing numerous spam complaints through SpamCop, I attempted to contact Salesforce directly. After several phone calls I eventually was transferred to their tech support department where I was hoping to open a ticket for the unsolicited emails and Salesforce's failure to comply with removal requests. I was polite but firm and Salesforce just gave me the runaround and claimed they were not responsible even though the spams were coming from their servers. When I asked to be removed from ALL of Salesforces lists as I did not want them selling my email address without my permission I was hung up on.

Illegal spamming is no way to win customers. Ignoring multiple removal requests and harassing clients with a bombardment of spams is both bad business as well as against the CanSpam Act.

I have attempted to reach out to this company for their harassing email tactics through several formats and yet the spam attacks continues. This is getting to the point where I have to start filing complaints to educate others on the unethical tactics this firm in engaging in as far as email marketing. Spamming is illegal. What will it take to get you to stop sending me spams?

I hope that other companies see this and can realize just how much damage unsolicited email attacks does to their reputation.

Salesforce: STOP SPAMMING and comply to your advertised terms of service that is posted on your website. I am a victim of your unsolicited email attacks and have requested removal numerous times. What will it take to get you to stop?
