This place is goldy locks water park . wolf lodge is for small kids, and kalahari is for the older teens and adults i feel. Yet auquatopia is just right. Water and atmosphere temperatures are just right. They also have great activities for kids. Our favorite is the pottery corner . This activity can go threw out your stay if you like . pottery prices are reasonable and they will ship the hole familys art for a flat rate of $10. Coffee at the cafe is great at the lobby . if you have a chance try there smores latte and chi . breakfast is great at horizions, we have done dinner on lazy days , which is ok. Neptunes food looks amazing.yet, I never tried it personaly myself . there is no buy back here. Drinks are strong but hardly ever made to discription . drinks that call for champagne have been subed for fizz water.vat the pool drinks are a little lighter and more of the frozen sweet kind also. Yet i never stayed long enough to check for buy back. Kalahari does buy back at lobby bar. We did do the 4th there which is celebrated on the 3rd at camel back beach which is free to the public .yet, if you stay at the hotel and get a room right in front of the pub and a balcony , you have a front row seat in your own room. We were lucky enough to get such a room . also the pub jad free activites ,games , sparklers, and activities for kids. Even a live band that was awesome . there is quiet time at the hotel from 11p-7a at the hotel. Mountain adventure is fun and affordable we did not have to pay to get in, it is adjacent to camelback park which is the outdoor water park/theme park . rodes are generally $10. Whish there was a flat rate band , but it as it goes. Now. There a luge ride. Be careful, this goes really fast and you can flip out . go on the blue ride first . this one you can go on with your child . here you can show them how to use breaks .show then how to slow down on turns . the girls were great here too and the guys . they take pictures of your adventures. We still have not done camel back but plan too this comong visit in 2 weeks. Oh by the way a prize that seems neglected is the candy shop at the arcade which has amazing fresh chocolate cover Oreo. The staff is awesome to my service dog . now lets talk about rooms . if your staying a few days, may i suggest the kitchen rooms which ate amazing . even has a separate powder room section and two bathrooms and the mountain view on this 6 floor is amazing . now the two rooms are just as nice . tho i do suggest leaving childerns room comfy , you will have to leave there door open . bunk beds room was a little of a challenge as my 9 year old is bigger and taller than most . top bunk didnt seem stable enough for him i feel. But other wise than that we found our just right price.
