I was a walk in for my oil change at 7:10am and I ...

I was a walk in for my oil change at 7:10am and I was told that I receive my car back within 1 hour to an hour and a half. I was also asked if I wanted a safety recall done on my car and I said "not if that would make me leave after 8:30am." My oil change did not get done until 9:00am, and then I was told they were now going to start on my safety recall. I was very upset to find that as every new customer that came through the door who had an appointment push my car backed further in line. The Al Serra Chevrolet dealership then proceeded to give me a rental car until my car would be done with the updates. Within an hour of leaving the dealership I then dropped off the rental car at home and proceeded to work with a different car.

My wife was first to receive a call from the Al Serra Chevrolet to tell us that our car was done and ready to pick up. She then came back to the dealer with the rental car, and was greeted by a female associate who had no clue why my wife was there. She was then directed to two more female associates which the one in charge of rental cars was busy helping another customer, so the second lady behind the counter took over. When my wife parked the rental outside they asked her to drive it into the building for inspection which we had the rental for only an hour. When she did bring it into the building they continued to question her how far she drove and asked a couple different times if she filled the tank (it was full upon pickup). They told her they would charge $5 a gallon for every mile over 10 miles which is uncalled for since this is nowhere near the gas station price.
She asked if her car was in service or on the lot for any reason. Then she asked my wife who our advisor was which we did not know any names. The clerk was agitated not having a name, and had to ask another employee " Who is #...?" No one knew any advisor numbers. Finally, a name was put with the number, and he happen to be standing next to the counter seemingly lost with clipboard in hand. When the male associate was approached and told his guest had arrived, he was unsure who the family name was and which car.
When it came time for my wife to get our car back - no one knew which lot it was in, and had to confirm with my wife the color and model. After signing the paperwork, my wife was asked to wait for our car to come around the corner which it took almost ten minutes. Overall, experience was not pleasurable and we will not return or recommend Al Serra Chevrolet to anyone.
