I am batting 1000 so far today on finding awesome local businesses. Tone Shop Guitars is one of those business.

They have a great selection of electric and acoustic guitars. They have the normal brands like Fender, Gibson, Martin, Taylor, and Gretsch. But they also have a good selection of not so normal brands. The bass selection seem to be a little bit light, but I'm a guitar player and not a bassist. So really that didn't affect me.

The guitar prices seem to be just as good as the guitar centers and Sam Ashes of the world, but with that small local shop feel. And in truth, it's really not that small. You have plenty of space to stretch your legs out and not feel like you're crowding into the next guy. And their acoustic room is ridiculous.

The staff there or not only knowledgeable, but they walk the fine line of being chill without neglecting you.

They have a guitar tech on hand, and my next step is to bring in my 1994 Gibson nighthawk to have it set up. It's way overdue and I've just been looking for the right kind of shop to do it.
