I was forced to leave because I was HOT.... that's right because I was HOT. I sat down to cool off.... because it's a beach in Florida, my friend went to get me a water. Before I knew it a security officer asked me if I was okay, I told him I was fine just hot. Two seconds later I'm surrounded by three security officers telling me to leave. I asked why? They had no response. My friend and I said that's ridiculous and walked back to where our things were on the beach. We were then followed by the security officers and again told to leave. We asked why we were being asked to leave and this time the excuse was because management said so.... of course, we asked to speak to the manager. Instead of calling the manager the security called two police officers to where we were sitting who also told us we had to leave. Again when we asked why? There was no explanation.... we just had to. We collected our things and was escorted through hundreds of people staring at us as though we were criminals, when again, we did absolutely nothing wrong. Finally the "manager" met us at the front who again we asked why we had to leave and her response was because she "trusts her security". So the security said it was management and the management said it was security. We said that made no sense, because it didn't... obviously someone is lying here. So the officers decided to give us an ultimatum (while walking toward out the front) of either leaving the premises or going to jail, when again we were already walking out so that was completely unnecessary. We asked if we had to leave because of the way we looked? (Being two of the maybe 6 brown people there) and his response was "we can tell you to leave for whatever reason we want, it can be because of the way you look, or because you have flowers in your hair. It's private property so we don't have to have a reason." I replied well, I guess this is trump America to which the officer replied, "Yes it is." Long story short, spend your money here at your own risk, but just know you can be asked to leave at any time for any reason and they have the "right" to do so. Enjoy !
