Just arrived in US from Sydney Monday, made a call to China Peak, yep we are going skiing!Drove Fresno to CP Tues 16 Feb, with a mate who has never been on snow. This day was his 40th birthday and he wanted to snowboard. The 3 day learner lift and lesson package was a bargain - he took that. I grabbed a 3 day mid week ticket, also a bargain. Sky was clear and weather warm. Perfect! Snow was getting a bit thin, not all the lifts were operating, but open areas were all well groomed from the Presidents Day long weekend.
