Sicilians have always exported their ability to get by and their art of living everywhere.

The restaurant, opened in 1696, quickly enjoyed great success thanks above all to the coffee and ice creams that it imported from Italy.

In the eighteenth century the liberal ideas of Diderot and d'Alembert took shape between the Procope tables and during the French revolution Robespierre, Danton and Marat gathered there to make the most important decisions; Benjamin Franklin also used to go to the Procope to draw up his documents.
After some time the restaurant remains a place full of history, as the paintings and decoration testify, in which you can spend a pleasant moment for a lunch, a dinner or just a cup of tea.
