I dropped off my 2017 Ford Explorer at the service...

I dropped off my 2017 Ford Explorer at the service department for climate control and noise issues. Also, the dashboard had weird babbles pop up and has to be relapsed. I made sure to schedule an appointment and dropped the car off 1,5 hour early. I was told that it will probably take around 2 days to check carbon monoxide leak that was on a recall and relapse the dashboard. Later that day I received a phone call and was told that the dashboard replacement has to be approved by Ford and I will have to reschedule for that service, which is fine. What I am upset about is that nothing was done on my vehicle for 2 days. I left it at the service department to make sure that that carbon monoxide leak gets checked/fixed and was told that it would be done by noon of the next day. It wasn't... Then I called at 3 pm and it was still not done and I was told that I should come and get the car. I feel like I inconvenienced myself for 2 days trying to get to and from work without my vehicle for no reason.
