It's not often you walk into a store and faced with the option of buying not only one, but two Michael Hurley records, one John Fahey record, or a dollar bin Canned Heat. Record Number Nine is THE Hudson Valley record store, and I often wonder why I even contemplate turning off 87' an exit earlier. Best Jams, Best Vibes, and the Best People, Rocket Number Nine leaves me praying that I will one day be allowed to turn Jerry up to 11.
