I've been to Gulfstream Park about 12 times in the past 8 years. It has changed incredibly from the 80's and 90's when it was just a rinky-dink racetrack. The restaurants and the shops are very nice and the track is magnificent. The casino is your typical slots & poker casino, nothing speical, but fun if you like that stuff. Good crowd, very little riff-raff. Only down side about the track is that aside from the Jan - March months when the big boys are showing off their stock, the track has a growing reputation for being one of the most crooked in the US. As an avid horse player I can say that I've seen some strange things here, much more so than at other tracks of similar size and stature. The good ol' boy system appears to be live & well here. Bet cautiously!
