If I could give this place no stars I would and no...

If I could give this place no stars I would and not because of the food but the service! Mr. Rome I know you are trying to help the community of Bronzeville by hiring people of that community which is a beautiful thing however when they are defacing your business with their negative attitudes and deposition you can trust that you will lose business! I came to your business 4-5 months ago and the young lady that serviced us was terrible! We waited for close to an hour to be seated which we were told upfront so that was fine however once we were seated it went downhill from there! The waitress was a heavy set dark skinned lady with with braids with the worse attitude I have ever experienced! She came to the table like we all slept with her the night before and walked out with no notice! We asked for things over and over which we never got! We were left sitting for 30 mins with not even as much as a sorry but were going to get you order out soon. I was so disappointed that I said at that moment I would not be back...Fast forward to today...I came back because my daughter wanted to give Peaches a 2nd chance because she enjoyed the french toast and this time we got Iesha! She was just a bad as the 1st waitress. And as we waited I noticed that she was talking to the horrible waitress we had the first time so they must have been in cohoots to ensure this experience was bad as well because the 1st waitress remembered us! In a nutshell I let waitress 1 know the first time that her service was bad. I'm saying all of this to say Mr. Rome black owned businesses are a beautiful thing which I as a black woman I want to support but I will not pay my money to any business that treats me and like TRASH. You have good workers at your restaurant with wonderful attitutes hire more because you have people working for you that could care less about your business or the customer! I will not be returning!
