Hi,
Huawei MATE 20 PRO , IP68 waterproof - under 10 seconds in light rain, touchscreen stopped working. Took it to service, the phone is under warranty - and got reply HUAWEI does not repair water damage. So claiming the phone is waterproof is safe and can be false because they will not fix it anyway! How can you market your product as waterproof and not fix water damage?

The Huawei representative called me a liar and told me that i cannot prove them how i used the phone.

The phone was bought in Denmark, and the guy in the store in DK told me they were fixing MATE 20 PRO with water damage, but they could not fix mine because it was already opened, in Poland...

So HUAWEI takes care of markets in a different way. In Denmark they fix it, in Poland they don't. Apple is strong in DK so they will do all they can not to have bad publicity. In Poland - as long as they have the football guy (Lewandowski) running around in Huawei smart watch on TV- sales are good and they don't care about the clients or support.

I really liked Huawei , but their care speaks for itself.
Save yourself some money - buy a different brand.
