1. Switched the vehicle without notice after deal.
2. Empty gas tank upon delivery. Had to follow salesman to a gas station.
3. 4 trips (4 hrs. of driving) to pick up a check meant to make me happy about the above screw-up.
4. The check was mailed to my co-signer in Alabama.
The day I bought my NEW Jeep Wrangler I was told they had a new 2015 and a 2016 that had the minimum options that I wanted before I would agree to buy. I had already test driven the 2015 which included head liners and the upgraded stereo system in addition to the minimum options I wanted. I was shown both Jeeps before we sat down to negotiate. After looking at both I told them I wanted to make the deal on the 2015 even though the 2015 was a little more expensive due to the extra features but being that I would be driving a 1 year old car off the lot the depreciation alone should be close to evening out the price. After agreeing on a price and spending a little over 5 hours there the deal was done. I walked out to my car to find out it wasn't the Jeep with the head liners and the upgraded stereo. It was the second Jeep I looked at that day, by the way, It wasn't even a 2016 it was also a 2015. So not only did i not get the Jeep I was negotiating on, I didn't even get the correct year of the second Jeep I was shown. I was never told that they were changing the vehicle at any point during the negotiations. They offered me a $300 check to make upgrades to the Jeep, I reluctantly agreed on a $400 check knowing that It wouldn't even come close to paying for equipment and installation of a new stereo. This all happen on a Tuesday, I was asked to return the following week to pick up the check. Adding to insult, when I cranked the Jeep to leave, IT WAS SITTING ON EMPTY!!! I had to go back inside to tell someone then I had to follow a sales rep up the road to fill up the tank. I returned the following Thursday (9 days & a 30min one way drive later) to pick up my check and was told that the guy that had to sign the check wasn't there and was asked to come back the next day (friday) I had to work Fri. so I asked if I could come Sat and they said that would be fine. I returned on Sat. and was told that the business office did not work on Saturdays and was once again asked to come back on Monday. That brings me to today. Today, (Monday) I was told that the check was mailed to my co-signer who lives in Alabama on the previous Wednesday which was the day before I went to dealership the FIRST time to pick it up the check. They cancelled the first check and again, I'm having to go tomorrow to pick up the check. For those of you doing the math that is the 4th trip I will take to the dealership at 30 minutes each way equaling 4 hours of driving to pick up a check that was meant to correct a massive mistake or deception that was made in the first place. After all of this, the sales manager offered me a tank of gas!!! I'm seriously contemplating selling the car, taking a loss and buying one somewhere else just so I don't have to deal with them anymore.
