Spent two nights. First night woken at 4.45 am by the sound of watering pouring out of an electrical fixture in the ceiling. Called reception and maintenance came by and said it was a leak... Nothing else. Called again and asked for bucket as carpet was getting sopping wet. Spoke to reception desk in the morning, not a single person apologized, and was offered to move to another room that only had one bed, not two as the current room, as hotel was otherwise full. Asked for and got a refund for that night. Slept second night in room with big construction site fan blowing and woke at 2 am by the sound of water pouring from the ceiling again, and the carpet soaked. At check out was told by the manager that I would have to pay full price for the second night because I had declined to switch to the room with one bed. When asked if they thought that was reasonable after having us in a room with a full on construction fan blowing and water leaking from the ceiling, I was told that I should be satisfied because by not paying for the first night (with the water leak) and paying full price for the second night (with a water leak and construction fan blowing), I was actually getting a 50% discount on my two night stay.... That s Nassau Inn customer service for you.
