United Way knows where the needs in the community are and channel their resources to help these needs. They were there helping during the flood of August 2016, and while other emergency organizations have moved on to other places in the country, CAUW remains focused on helping the people in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas get back on their feet. They do all of this IN ADDITION to all of their programs that help those less fortunate in the Capital Area.
