Do not use this software company! They hold your data hostage! 3-4 years ago we were going to upgrade from Tops IQ to Tops One. They charged us an upgrade fee, etc. When we learned we couldn't use the software since it wasn't "ready" they gave us credit to use when the software would be ready to use. This spring they promised us it could do all the functions that were necessary to run our business. We went from paying $915/month to over $3,000/month. For a small company like ours, this is not cost effective. However, since many of our clients need certain features of the upgrade we decided to do it. During our initial implementation training sessions, we learned that this software was STILL unable to do the processes needed as well as not transferring over all of the data! We tried had conference calls with their management team saying this is not going to work and we would like to go back to using the Tops IQ until all of the features they promised us would work. We have been trying to reach them since August 3rd and no one will return calls or emails. Since they automatically charge our credit card every month, we decided to dispute the charges for the difference since we are unable to use Tops One. Well, they turned off all access for my employees last Friday! We were unable to gain access until we paid the difference! This is highway robbery! And to boot, another company is getting charged a lot less than we are! Needless to say, we will need to file a lawsuit against Tops immediately. We have been with Tops for over 14 years and this is how they treat loyal customers?!
