1st time visiting, despite driving by it for 25 years. Always thought...too expensive for me. However, this time it was my moms birthday...no excuses. I scheduled a reservation online without any difficulty. We arrived on time. Parking looked like it may be an issue, but was blessed by the parking gods with a front row opening. But Angus Barn is setup with lots of parking for busy days and nights. We were seated quickly with option of sitting in the larger area that was somewhat like a semi formal dress Viking / 19th century frontier long table large party gathering banquet or off to a side room at a personal private table. We chose option #2. Although we did run into a longtime friend that was in the larger room with about 20 of his coworkers having a business dinner. The wine list went for ever! With bottles ranging from $8,000 to $20, they had available wine for all tastes. I selected the BONE-IN TOMAHAWK RIB-EYE for $96! And shared it with another. The price is actually great for two. It s not just for the 42 ounce beef! But also came with a salad or soup for both myself and the other person I shared it with and another side which for me was a twice baked potato. prior to the meal came an assortment of olives and cheeses. The waiter was very accommodating. Not in your face, but always magically appeared when needed. Lastly, since it was a birthday celebration, Angus Barn went out of it s way to bring a cake to my mother. I definitely recommend going and to not wait as long as I did to visit. All said and done, the price was right for what Angus Barn delivered on.
