Melissa Longpre Review of GENERATIONS OBGYN

I had an appointment today, my first one with this establishment. It took me two months to actually get an appointment. Well, I was running late, due to my fluid work schedule (as doctors should understand, things at work come up, which is why people wait in the waiting room)... well, I called to let them know I was running late, and was on hold the entire half hour drive to their office, so never got to actually speak with anyone. I walked in, and not one person was in the main waiting room. Not sure why the receptionist couldn t field a phone call?
They had me fill out paperwork, then someone came and brought me to a second waiting room. After a few minutes, one of the staff members came and asked me to reschedule my appointment. You were an hour late she said, which couldn t be any further from the truth.
Don t schedule an appointment here if you want to feel that your time does not count. I felt so slighted by these rude people. Yes, I was a few minutes late, I stress the words few minutes here, but certainly not remotely close to an hour late by any stretch. I also tried to call and communicate this. I drove almost 45 minutes to be asked to leave. I am a full time working mom and it s not always so easy to break away from my rigorous career to take care of myself.
I left this office feeling like they didn t care about my health or my needs.
If you re new to the area, and looking for a gynecologist, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
