Representative basically told me to go and deal with the banks instead of as he stated "losing time with my conversation".

It sounds like they only want to do business with people that are in difficult situations.

As soon as he heard that I had a good financial position, he referred me to the 5 big banks and not to waste my time with them.

Ok, understood.

I'll take your advice, I'll go to the bank.
