Don t let the fancy care facilities fool you! My mother was in one of their facilities and within 5 years, she stopped communicating and all of her teeth were gone. No matter how we pleaded for them to care for her oral hygiene and she was supposedly on a dental plan, they did nothing. She had beautiful teeth. She also almost died of sepsis due to an ignored bladder infection which led to blood infection which put her in the hospital. This was not the first time they had ignored her and she was put into the hospital. Such a sad place. Don t put your loved ones here! My mother stopped talking while at their facility. We moved her to a new facility where she is actually conversing with us again and she knows us! I don t know what they were doing to her. All I know is she is more alert and speaking again since being moved.
