Excellent hotel, but the jewel of the place is the bar: The King Cole Bar. Wall mural by Maxfield Parrish behind the bar. Yes it s expensive and loud, but you don t care because it s such an icon. Service is good and there are some excellent seats throughout. The bar menu has some fun choices. Every time I m in New York I make it a point to go. It s a relatively inexpensive place to go to say you ve been a part of something so special.
