James Esser is one radiologist who will interpret your tests at this place. Google him before you go!!!! I had an MRI for comparison of two previous ones. When I got the results there was things missing, things that don t go away and the results were also very short and vague. I read another persons review on here who said her previous MRI results were much longer compared to this place. My previous ones which are by two different radiologist are also much longer and way more detailed. The stuff that was missing from this MRI made me very concerned about the quality/capability/competency of the radiologist, so I decided to google his name. It took some time but let s say I will NEVER go here again. I am also bringing my previous tests elsewhere to be rechecked. I called the office manager (a woman) and she was very nice, she seemed shocked that their radiologist had several settled MALPRACTICE suits but obviously couldn t say too much. She had some very rude man call me back eventually and really he just tried to make up excuses. He told me not to play the cancer card with him because he also had cancer, this was in response to my concerns over this radiologists history of missing a breast mass on a patients test and he has been reading my mammograms for the last 4yrs. SCARY! That was just one case this radiologist settled. There is another radiologist named on one of my mammograms and I google searched him too and while he doesn t have as many settled malpractice suits as James Esser he has a couple that I found. Maybe radiologists are cheaper to hire if they have settled lawsuits? I honestly don t know...but if that is the case... it is horrible!! I realize doctors are human and can make mistakes but this man has made quite a few. I am choosing not to put my or my family s life in the care of this place. Hopefully they read this and decide to hire better, smarter, safer!! I have called three places in Hernando county the only one whose radiologists don t have any malpractice issues that I found is Spring Hill MRI (behind hooters on 19) I called first and they gave me 5 radiologists names who might possibly read my results, all five appeared Clear of any malpractice issues and all quite excellent. I went there once so far hopefully from now on waiting for results to compare. Who knew you should do a check on radiologists who will read your exams!! Wow!!! I m glad I now know this and I hope it helps others decide what they want to do. I will put up some pictures of what I found....if this lets me. I ve tried to put up pictures of the malpractice information but so far it won t let me....you can find what I did google/search the radiologists name and the word malpractice....healthgrade website was informative.
