The newly renovated hotel was excellent. Well done. The staff remain friendly and professional.

The issues that we had all related to F&B, both in the Club Lounge and for dinner in the restaurant. In the club lounge, the food was delivered very slowly and was not up to expectation.

First a display on each table, indicated a "special omelette" but when we tried to order one, we were told that "we don't have the ingredients here and will have go down to get them' the inference being that it would take extra time. We then ordered basic omelettes. The promised sausages beside we're not initially served and the toast appeared only beneath the omelette. The next morning the lounge was busier but the omelette was cold (not warm but cold) after a 20 minute wait.

My wife and I had dinner one night in the restaurant off the lobby. Even though we were dining at 6:30 PM, the dinner broiled meats looked unappetising. They were over cooked, did not have the 'fresh prepared' taste. The food selection was poor and there were only a few leaves in the one chafing dish of vegetable. There was no chef on duty except for about 5 minutes during our entire 45 minute visit.

As we were staying inn the hotel to inspect the property, where we had successfully staid many times before, we were disappointed at these developments. The staff in the restaurant were convivial but it was clear that they told felt the deficiency.

This needs to be addressed
