I made a stop here on my bike tour through the Salzkammergut. Check-in was extremely friendly, a space in the bike room was quickly organized. The rooms are very tidy and clean, they must have been renovated, the best of the old house is being brought out. The location right on the lake promenade is of course a dream.

The service in the restaurant was good, the food was okay, it was a bit too much like a hotel for me (soup came before the drinks, fried potatoes without bacon and onions, mixed salad partly from the glass). There is nothing wrong with that, but the finishing touches were missing.

At breakfast everything was fine again, the selection was large and good.

Overall, a very good hotel that I would happily recommend.
