We bought our new camper from Lazydays at the big January show. No one has a better selection. Unfortunately there were nothing but problems after that. We were given three different delivery dates. The date was never changed at the manufacturers factory. Lazydays was looking at the wrong paperwork each time. Upon delivery, the service department mounted the equalizer hitch and the camper was 4 higher in front. A rig should be as level as possible. Never higher in front! When called out by us... This is a pretty good set up . When we insisted, they said they were putting a new WDH on, they ended up putting a longer drop hitch. So be it.
When we went back for warranty work. We scheduled it, told them what was needed. A reminder call a few days before, we were told we would have to spend the night in order to get warranty work approval to replace an assist handle that broke off. Several calls later, we were told no that s probably not the case. I spoke with the service manager who assured me he would make sure they had the part. Pulled in for appointment, was waited on within a few minutes. Service advisor took pics and said he would get warranty approval and do the work. Several hours later I was called, work was done amd I could go to the cashier. No charge. When they brought our vehicle amd camper back. Nothing was done! Called service advisor. He s at lunch. Left a message and headed home. He called. They had to order the part I asked them twice to have in stock. They got approval to use a mobile service once the part comes in to come and fix it, hence the extra star.
They are huge. They have a huge inventory. They have camping, several restaurants and lovely waiting areas that are pet friendly. Most of the people are very friendly. They just lose the details and the service department seems majorly confused and more complicated then necessary. We had warranty work performed up north over the summer. Easy quick appointment. In amd out in less than an hour.
We re done with Lazydays and will drive hours elsewhere for any additional warranty work.
