We made a stopover at the Gold Coast on October 28, 2019 while we were going to another "Relais Chateau" for a stay that was offered to us.
It was a mistake for us to stop at Saulieu.
The welcome at Madame Loiseau's is such that it is difficult to leave! When we arrived at our destination, a top-of-the-range establishment, it seemed to us so tasteless in comparison to the "gold coast".
We are bikers and often we are not welcome in high-end establishments where we are looked down upon.
; probably the effect of black leather outfits ...
In Saulieu, no discrimination: we were wonderfully welcomed when we were wet by the thick November fog which is formidable in this region.
The hunter responsible for parking customers' cars in the garage was quite embarrassed in front of our big sports motorbike parked in front of the establishment; it was beyond his skills and goodwill ... he finally walked us to the garage so we could get our bike dry and safe! He also took care of the motorcycle specific luggage which is extremely heavy and without wheels ....

This anecdote to say that the "Gold Coast" that we knew at the time of Mr Bernard Loiseau has never changed!
Madame Loiseau has succeeded in preserving the excellence of French Gastronomy in a warm, almost family-friendly welcome!

When we left, while we were sneaking up to face the driving rain on a motorcycle, Madame Loiseau came to greet us and thank us for our visit without failing to chat with us for a few minutes despite being clients.
