I've been to Atami numerous times because my friends and I love it. However, I WILL NOT be returning. Yesterday, my family and I, a party of 9, went to eat at Atami. We sat in Hibachi and ordered our food. After waiting for half an hour, the manager came out to inform us that we would have to move our entire party to regular dining because not enough of us ordered hibachi meals, even though 8 of us had ordered fried rice. Also, a party of 2 had just eaten alone at the table next to us. The manager was EXTREMELY rude in response to us asking why. It was VERY poor management making us wait half an hour before finally deciding to come out and tell us they weren't going to start cooking our food until we moved.
Our waiter was very embarrassed and apologetic of the manager.
We then left and went to eat elsewhere.
