Scam agency, don't use it. I was robbed and it was an inside job. I came to Paris for a short term work assignment and hired Book-A-Flat. They put another set of keys in the mailbox and the robbers entered in and took a lot of my valuables. Radio silence from the owner who agreed to help.
The agency is claiming to leaving the keys in the mailbox with no proof and blaming me for not picking it up and threatening me to report to the police. The keys didn't have any indication of the apartment number so it is very odd that the robbers knew where to go) There are more than 50 apartments. They are taking advantage of me being the female and foreigner.
An agency that charged me the fees and told me to contact the owner because they didn't have his telephone number. And then I was promised that the lock would be changed and never heard back.
