Me and my wife took a deferred parent loan out for our daughter. The loan doesn't mature for 6 months after our daughter Graduates. One day we received a letter in the mail stating our wages are going to be "Garnished"?. We had No oppertunity of making 1 payment, never even knew what a payment ever was! After being floored for what we read we called these people, We were told, "Now" , listen to this, they said our daughter dropped out of College and this was put into Default! That one was almost as shocking as the letterlwe read? When we assured them she was very much still in College "full time", and double majoring and close to being on the Deans List and doesnt graduate till the end of December 2018! The room got silent?? They said they would look into this and resolve this issue, "Ya Right". It has been already a few months and We are still Having several Hundreds of dollars per week taken out of OUR CHECKS and no sign of any admittence of wrong doings , and this is basically Steeling ! The only way to deal with Matters such as this at our age, as our Attorney says, take them to court and Sue!.. trust us.. talking will get you no -where but a waist of energy and time with matters such as these...stand up for whats right! And let no one tell you otherwise.
