I have a very good perspective with regards to my bunion procedure done by Dr. Nadal. In 2006, I had my right foot bunion removed by an orthopaedic surgeon at a hospital with total anesthesia. In the days immediately following, I had a lot of pain and didn't tolerate pain meds well. The end result was good, but I never saw the doctor after the operating room. In 2009, I had my left foot done by Dr. Nadal. The difference between his procedure and the one in 2006 was significant. I experienced very little discomfort following Dr. Nadal's minimal incision procedure, which was done in his office under local anesthesia. The only pain med. I took was extra-strength Ibuprofen. Follow-up care was frequent and well-organized. It's three years since, and I just had another check-up, with another scheduled in a year. The end result is far superior to the orthopaedic surgical one, so I certainly recommend Dr. Nadal and his minimal incision procedure to anyone and everyone.
